Currently around the country, most major cities are experiencing freezing temps along with shoveling snow off their driveways this weekend. Luckily in sunny Miami, Florida, there is a high of 85 degrees with partly cloudy skies and we are about to kick off a two-day music festival party! Although there’s a nice breeze and a touch of fall in the air, not sure there are too many places right now where you can still celebrate like it’s summer in the beginning of November but I know a place and it’s at House of Creatives!

House of Creatives Music Fest is in it’s 3rd year, taking place in the historic Virginia Key Beach Park. Smack dab in the middle of the Atlantic, this music festival has views for miles with a tropical backdrop like you wouldn’t believe. Aside from all this festival has to offer, the one thing that I admire the most is the founders of the festival stand proud to move Miami’s culture forward and create a safe haven for people to enjoy the music they love all in a positive light. Although this festival is in my backyard, it has brought thousands of adventure-seekers from all over to celebrate a weekend of music, gourmet food, amazing vendors, and breathtaking art for an unforgettable experience.

With two days of jam packed music, fun, and activities, there is definitely so much to see! If you’re not in line for some tasty tacos from Coyo Taco, or a hot diggity dog from Doggy Style (that name cracks me up), then you gotta check out all the awesome vendors that came to party as well! Spunglasses got ya covered if you forgot your shades at home cause you’re defiantly going to need some this weekend, and Coconut Stock will fuel your tastebuds with refreshing beverages with a customized coconut to take home!

There are two stages at House of Creatives this year, the Main Stage and the Beach Stage. There will be 32 artists gracing these stages over the next two days. This years lineup is pretty unbelievable. Local artist Love, Abby (one of my favorites of the day) performed on Saturday along with Sofi Tukker, Chromeo, and Foster The People to name a few. There was so much great music I got a workout in running from both stages to make sure I photographed as many artists as I could!

Sunday’s line-up was just as solid as the day before. Performances from Pillowtalk, B.A.G., Little Dragon (among many more) and M.I.A. to close out the night and an absolutely amazing weekend.

The 3rd installment of the House of Creatives Music Festival was definitely one for the books. The atmosphere, the vibe, and the overall organization of this fest was one of the best I’ve been to. I can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
