New Zealand electronica band Broods made a stop in Louisville, Ky recently on their latest US tour, playing to a packed venue. Comprised of brother and sister Georgia and Caleb Nott, Broods has a wonderful and infectious energy. They reminded me quite a bit of the Scottish band CVRCHES. Georgia Nott was a powerhouse on stage, dancing across the entire stage as she sang. The set was broken up into three parts. They started the set with a few of their upbeat, more electronic songs. Georgia and Caleb each then sat in a chair at the front of the stage and sang a few acoustic songs, ending their acoustic set with an incredible cover of the Tears For Fears hit, Mad World. They then switched back to electronic songs to close out the show. They put on a really incredible live show. Los Angeles based indie-electronic artist Michl opened the show.
