Thundercat with Channel Tres
Paristown Hall
Louisville, KY
October 30th, 2026
LA musician Thundercat (Stephen Lee Bruner) brought his Distracted AF Tour 2026 to Paristown Hall on October 30th to a packed house! He released his 5th studio album Distracted on April 3rd of this year, embarking on this tour to support the album. Being the day before Halloween, many fans this evening were in costume, which only added to the fun. The stage this evening had a giant inflatable black and red cat at the back, with a tunnel going through the bottom, allowing band members access to the stage! His band this evening consisted of keyboardist Dennis Hamm, drummer Justin Brown (with his disco ball-looking helmet!), and two back up singers Isla (Thundercat’s niece) and Puma Curry (Erykah Badu’s daughter). In addition to some older fan-favorites, the set list pulled heavily from the new album, with Thundercat performing newer tracks that included “Candlelight”, “She Knows Too Much”, “No More Lies”, “I Wish I Didn’t Waste Your Time”, and “Walking On The Moon”. A phenomenal bass player, he wowed the crowd with his skills this evening and his uplifting attitude. He was all smiles and was clearly having a great time on stage. He and his band were very engaging with each other, interacting on stage throughout the set, with his niece even coming out from behind her microphone to help sing early in the set! It was such an upbeat atmosphere, with the band and the crowd having fun and feeding off of each other’s energy, that it created a very memorable evening that no doubt left the fans awaiting Thundercat’s return to Louisville! Opening the show this evening was LA rapper/singer/DJ Channel Tres, who performed a really fun DJ set that had the crowd moving and warmed up in no time!
