We Came As Romans with Varials, Cane Hill, and Guerilla Warfare

Mercury Ballroom

Louisville, KY

October 22nd, 2026

We Came As Romans brought their 2026 tour to Mercury Ballroom on October 22nd with Varials, Cane Hill, and Guerilla Warfare as support. Louisville was amongst their final U.S. shows of 2026 and they did not disappoint! The fans came out, ready to sing and dance (and crowd-surf) their hearts out, filling the venue with a fun and infectious energy. The stage was set up for ultimate crowd engagement, with platforms running along the front of both sides of the stage, allowing singer Dave Stephens, lead guitarist Joshua Moore, rhythm guitarist Lou Cotton, and bassist Andy Glass to perform more directly to the crowd! The lighting was in sync with the songs and energy on stage, which made the set even more fun to watch.  The band released their latest album, All Is Beautiful…Because We’re Doomed in August of last year and performed many of the tracks this evening, including “Red Smoke”, “Bad Luck”, “Where Did You Go?”, “Culture Wound”, and “No Rest For The Dreamer”. They also performed some of their older hits, such as “Learning To Survive”, “Cold Like War”, and “Hope”. Throughout the set, the band and their fans matched each other’s energy, with the band giving their fans 110% from start to finish, clearly having a great time on stage and enjoying the crowd-surfing and moshing fans and having each song sung back to them! Stephens chatted a bit with the crowd between songs, as well, whether telling stories, talking about song meanings, or expressing gratitude for the ongoing support of the fans. Ending their set with “Black Hole” from their 2022 album Darkbloom, they gave their fans a night to remember!
