Rachel Ohnsman releases new single “Cliché”

Rachel Ohnsman’s keen sense of harmony complements her unique vocals and personal lyrics.  The jazz-pop singer/songwriter spent her formative years in Pennsylvania, playing in piano and vocal competitions and honing her musical writing.  In 2018, Rachel graduated from the Frost School of Music and released her debut album, “Lovers,” which she wrote, arranged, and co-produced.  That same year, she began her master’s and focused her attention on production and arranging.  Rachel’s musical style is anything but straightforward: theatre, classical, jazz, folk, and R&B influences all blend into her original music.  Rachel has toured throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan as a solo act and member of professional ensembles, and is currently co-writing her first full-length musical.  Ohnsman recently released her latest single, “Cliché,” a quirky celebration of silly love songs.  “I was asked to write a love song for a Valentine’s Day project a few years ago.  Every attempt at blissful romance felt completely derived.  I decided to dig into this feeling and poke fun at the love songs we hear all around us.  I’ve written plenty of sad songs about heartbreak, and this song is a celebration of being on the other side.”  Rachel can currently be found in Miami, and is soon moving to New York City.   You can follow Rachel Ohnsman and stay up-to-date with all music and news, as well as stream and purchase her music, via the following links:
