On Friday, October 11th, prolific indie rock force Palehound a.k.a. Ellen Kempner will be taking the stage at the iconic and newly revamped Webster Hall in NYC kicking off their fall tour with Big Thief.
Black Friday, their latest album that came out earlier this year, explores the intricacies of partnership and friendship that most can relate to in some way or another. Co-produced by Kemper and Gabe Wax (Beirut, Soccer Mommy), she and her bandmates Jesse Weiss (drums) and Larz Brogan (bass) recorded it at Panoramic House in Stinson Beach, California, tracking most of the songs live.
