Tuesday night Jacob’s Pavilion in Cleveland hosted O.A.R. with very special guests American Authors and Huntertones.
When Huntertones took the stage, the venue was still mostly empty, but they put on a very energetic set and were fun to watch.
By the time American Authors hit the stage, the venue was about halfway filled and every single person was on their feet dancing. Three songs into their set they performed their smash hit Best Day Of My Life and everyone loudly sang along. The energy in that place went through the roof. Towards the end of their set, they played a beautiful acoustic version of Mr.Brightside by The Killers and I can honestly say, I liked it more than the original. Well done, guys! During the last song, lead singer and guitarist Zac Barnett jumped off stage and sang directly to the crowd from the barrier. He even took some selfies with fans. It has been a while since I have seen a crowd be so engaged and excited about the opening act. If you get a chance to see American Authors in concert, don’t even think twice.

O.A.R. came on just before 9 pm and Cleveland loved having these guys back in their home State. The band was in top form and performed songs from a variety of their albums. Seeing O.A.R. live is always so much fun, as they keep changing their setlists and you never know what you might get to hear. Of course, they played all the hits as well, but they did throw in the occasional surprise no one expected.
