By now, Circa Survive has been around the block more than a few times. After 14 years of doing what they do and gaining momentum with each year that passed, they’re no strangers to the feeling of lighting up an entire room when they hit the stage. Last Saturday night in Chicago, Circa captivated the whole room when they opened up with Lustration, the first track off of Amulet. The dark opening gave way for a set full of colorful visuals against the backdrop, and a classically energetic Anthony Green, utilizing every inch of the big stage and getting up to interact with the crowd.
Circa Survive were lucky enough to be supported by La Dispute and Queen of Jeans on this tour, who each drew their own crowd and set the energy for the evening. The tour is only about halfway through at this point. Don’t miss it before it’s over!
