New York native Cindy Latin is a songwriter, artist, arranger, and producer, an artist who hovers R&B, Soul, and Jazz. Counting as influences artists such as Erykah Badu, Frank Ocean, Tori Kelly, Stevie Wonder and John Coltrane, her proximity to NYC growing up led her to be exposed to multiple artistic disciplines. Performing in community and school musicals led to her interest in performing musical theatre, and in 2015 she studied Musical Theater at the Boston Conservatory, studying vocal performance, acting and dance. In the summer of 2016, she attended a Summer Music Bootcamp course at NYU’s prestigious Clive Davis Program, where she began songwriting and discovered a new passion leading her to change course and come study at Berklee College of Music in 2017. She graduated in 2019 with a Dual Degree in Songwriting and Contemporary Writing and Production and a minor in the Theory of Jazz and Popular Styles. In addition to her original music, Cindy often works with other artists as a songwriter, arranger, and producer in styles ranging from Pop to R&B to Musical Theatre to Jazz. Today sees the release of her new single “Querida”, a joyful and fun soul pop song that is similar to artists and groups such as Rachel Rodriguez, Allen Stone, and the Main Squeeze.
