JC Villafan’s debut album America’s For Dreamers shares the inspirational story of a couple, JC’s own parents, who come to the U.S. to seek out opportunity and build a life together. Musically, there are both pop and folk-y influences present. Villafan’s voice is strong and contains the quality of smoothness that’s common in most singer songwriters.
As a whole, the album is a very heartfelt effort and displays a lot of subtle musical talent as well as a large emotional capacity. This one is recommended for those who like acoustic-based singer songwriter tunes.
