Cayucas release animated video for “Jessica WJ”

California indie pop band Cayucas have released an animated video to accompany their single “Jessica WJ”.  Comprised of brothers Zach and Ben Yudin, the band blends the lighthearted spirit of ’60s pop with modern production techniques.  Their sound has evolved from a more beachy, summery vibe to a more synth heavy sound on their latest album Real Life, which is set to be released on April 19th via Park The Van Records.  The album will include previously released songs “Jessica WJ” and “Winter Of ’98”.  Nostalgia is a concept that will always be a huge part of Cayucas’s music, and the songs on Real Life are no different. As for the album’s title song, “Real Life” is a nod to both the nostalgia the brothers obsess over as well as the positive thinking they embraced during the album’s beginnings. For Cayucas, a full embrace of optimism, the joy of creating, and a fresh start has gotten them this far and promises to carry them even farther. Cayucas will also be heading out on a spring tour in support of Real Life.  You can follow Cayucas and stay up-to-date with the band and all upcoming music and band news via the following links.  Check out the video for “Jessica WJ” and the list of upcoming tour dates below.  You can pre-order the album here on BANDCAMP, DIGITAL or VINYL.  Photo credit: Cara Robbins.
