Indie rock quartet Me Like Bees are back with their new EP There Will Be Time, the head-bopping comeback from their 2013 release The Ides. The EP accentuates the band’s complete sound from the use of guitars to drums to horns, showing the amount of passion put into the release.
The EP opens with “Changes”, a song that shouts for the warm summer vibes that are quickly approaching. The rest of the album continues along the path of the summer sound, including the single “Tundraland”, which features a hip-swaying dance anthem chorus. The EP closes out with “Hymns and Blues”, reminiscent of early Modest Mouse. Overall, the EP showcases the many vocal and musical talents found within the band and is a must listen to on anyone’s summer playlist.
