Tuesday night saw Swedish superstar Zara Larsson kick off her headlining UK ‘Don’t worry bout me‘ tour in Manchester at the gorgeous Albert hall venue. The pop idol is set to play headlining shows in Germany and the Netherlands after also playing a sold-out show in London the night after Manchester, to add to this amazing achievement Larsson is also currently getting ready to support global superstar Ed Sheeran in the second part of his ‘Divide’ European tour beginning tonight in Lyon! Does this girl ever stop performing?! Let’s hope not because as we found out in Manchester she puts on one hell of a show! Support on the night came from girl duo Lennixx.

With the duos first EP “Split by” being released on the 31st of May the girls were bursting with excitement to play to the Manchester crowd, it also happened to be the first time the group had performed inside of the UK. Lennixx consists of Andrea Kallstrˆm and Zara’s younger sister Hanna Larsson, showing that musical talent is clearly in the Larsson genes! Lennixx definitely gained a lot of new fans during their set as their R&B talents were phenomenal and the young girls for sure have a bright future in the industry.

Zara burst out to the crowd atop of the stage staircase and was met by a sea of screaming fans as Larsson began the night with a rendition of her 2017 hit ‘Symphony’ with Clean bandit, she was joined with incredible backing dancers and guitarists who would add to the incredible performance throughout the night. Zara would go on to perform an array of her hit chart-topping songs such as ‘Lush Life’, ‘Ruin my life’ and the Euro 2016 football song ‘This one’s for you’ with David Guetta. The night was spectacular with the Swede showcasing both her talented dancing skills and remarkable voice, during the night Zara would go on to face a wardrobe mishap with her heel breaking off and without skipping a beat the 21 year old laughed the moment off throwing the heel into the crowd and smiling ear to ear as she got right back into the performance. Zara closed off the night with one of her biggest hits ‘Never forget you’, a song which elevated her to fame in September 2015 and it’s clear her elevation to stardom is still going strong and doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon. But I don’t think anyone in the room would argue with that!
