Is anyone going or planning to go to Sonic Boom this Sunday in Edmonton, AB @ Northlands? This is fourth year that Sonic Boom is taking place, and it’s hosted by one of Edmonton’s great radio stations Sonic 102.9! The day – starting at 11:30 AM this year, is filled with great music, crowds, and an overall wonderful way to spend the last weekend before school starts.
This year’s lineup includes Linkin Park – who has just released their latest album Living Things in June. Surprisingly, the band has never been to Edmonton before, so fans of the band should definitely seize this opportunity to see them! They are the headliners, which means they should be playing at the end of the day, so don’t hesitate to attend, you can go after work!
Some other bands that will be playing the show including Fun. who in the last year has gotten quite a lot of attention (with their song “We Are Young”), Young The Giant who always hold a distinct and unique sound, and Incubus, who is always great to see live.
