I remember looking around and everyone was rocking out, enjoying the chill tones and taking in the electronic beats. They definitely know how to get the party started, hype up their fans and keep them going through the night. Kevin and Jeff did a shout-out to their biggest fans in the crowd who were rocking out, cheering and jumping up and down. Who might that be? Their parents! Mom and dad could be seen and heard in the crowd! It was a night of  musical talent.

I had the pleasure of interviewing the duo. Check out what they had to say below!

M: What did you guys enjoy most about tonights show?

Kevin: We had about a month off.  Whenever we come back from a month long break it honestly feels great to feel the energy of the crowd and get back to doing shows. Austin has always been nice to us! It’s a real fun easy place to kick off the tour.

M: Is this your first time attending ACL?

Kevin: Yes

Jeff: It’s our first time being at the festival. We played at a couple after party shows in years before. We’re finally at the festival and were really exited about that.

M: What are you looking forward to about the festival?

Jeff: Gary Clark JR. Our parents are here. This is the first time they’re going to see us play at a festival.

M: What do y’all love about being on stage?

Kevin: For both us, we always wanted to be more behind the scenes. The fact that before the show regardless of how nervous we get. When we get out there we both really enjoy it. Since we always been shy people it would seem like it would be the opposite. We don’t feel nervous at all on stage. We just have fun. Thats honestly how I feel about it.

M: Tell me more about the Legends of Fall Tour?

Kevin: It’s really based around us playing ACL. Were playing both weekends and we wanted to fill dates near this region and the south. In between this weekend and the next. Like were going to play at ACL  Saturday. Then go to a couple dates throughout next week  and come back here next weekend. After were headed to Hawaii, Alaska and Mexico. It’s sort of a blur we been thinking about playing and now that were on it  you just enjoy the ride.

M: Which stop on the tour are you most excited to visit?

Kevin: We had such a good experience in South America this year. For me, I can’t wait to play  in Mexico City. It’s a festival at Corona Capitol which will be our first time there. I’m stoked its going to be incredible.

M: What inspired the single find me?

Jeff: Just living your life and getting the same results everyday overtime you forget who you really are and question yourself. So you wanna hideaway from people basically. Thats us saying “you won’t find me,

my mind feels like a stranger.”

M: Are y’all expecting any new music?

Jeff: Oh yeah! After this ACL ends. We been riding the song trust nobody and let that be the statement were making right now. As far as what we want to say musically. Trust Nobody encompasses what we want to say to the world right now. Until people understand that fully, then we can move on and release new music.

Kevin: I concur.

M: Is there anything you want to share with our readers?

Jeff: We’re going to keep rocking until we get old and white hair. Even then I will be on stage with a stool.

Kevin: I will probably have less hair than I do right now. Honestly were super happy we get to play at ACL. To have the state of Texas support us so much over the last two years has allowed us to get in front of so many new people that has been awesome for us. Were super grateful for it
