HAERTS release new album ‘New Compassion (Deluxe)’

German indie pop duo HAERTS, which consists of Nini Fabi (vocals) and Ben Gebert (keyboard/guitar), has released their latest album New Compassion (Deluxe).  The band formed in 2011 in New York City, where they currently reside, with their debut single “Wings” having been described by KEXP as being “as flawless as pop tunes come”.  The duo has toured with bands such as London Grammar, Michelle Branch, Washed Out, Rhys and Shout Out Louds and their music has been featured in film and television.

The album features 7 reimagined songs off their hauntingly-transparent sophomore full-length, New Compassion. The release includes acoustic versions of “Your Love”, “In This Time,” and “New Compassion”, as well as four live tracks – “The Way,” “The Creek,” “Fighter” and “Healing.” It was recorded at Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles during the final leg of their New Compassion Tour. Behind this concept, HAERTS details, “With the LA show recordings, we wanted to capture the energy in the room, and the way the songs enter a different world in the live performance through the connection with our audience.”
