Big Wild releases official music video for “6’s to 9’s (feat. Rationale)”

Singer, songwriter and producer Big Wild (aka Jackson Stell) has released the official music video for “6’s to 9’s (feat. Rationale)”.  The vibrant, feel-good visual perfectly showcases the fan favorite off the breakout artist’s critically acclaimed debut album, Superdream. The song, featuring London-based artist Rationale (of Bastille/Dan Smith’s label Best Laid Plans), has racked up over 8 million streams since its release earlier this year.  The track soars as a highlight on the album, praised by the likes of NPR, Billboard, KUTX, and more.  The coquettishly choreographed piece uses dance to convey the narrative arc of a full blown love story, dramatizing a blossoming courtship.  The visual representation of “6’s to 9’s” wholeheartedly embraces the romantic cliché through movement, which Stell acknowledges, as he notes that it “really captures the dreamy energy of the song in a beautiful, yet fun way.”

Earlier this month, the artist also released the 6’s to 9’s (remixes) package, which introduced fans to four fresh interpretations of the track by notable artists including CAZZETTE, Neil Frances, ABSOLUTE. and Day Wave.  Ranging from deep electronic renditions to an indie take on the track, the EP reimagines the production of the “6’s to 9’s” from distinct, yet harmonious, angles.  Fresh off a sold-out show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Big Wild recently kicked off the second leg of his 24+ date North American headlining tour which spans across the country, wrapping at the iconic Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco later this month.  Big Wild‘s debut album, Superdream, has amassed over 40M streams thus far.  The album finds the artist expanding his world of sound as he crafts hills and valleys of increasingly lush production, and for the first time in his career, he’s the voice guiding the listener on their musical journey.
