Bay area musician Tom Relling premieres his new music video for “Lost and Looking To Find You”; new self-titled LP to be released in October 2022

Musician, poet, and visual artist Tom Relling emerged on the Bay Area music scene over a decade ago, and soon established a reputation as a powerhouse bandleader, songwriter and slide guitarist in San Francisco rock outfit, Hibbity Dibbity. After three LP releases and several years of touring, Tom ventured into new musical directions: including a string of LP and EP releases with experimental “Apocalypse Rock” outfit TONG, two instrumental acoustic guitar albums, and launching Mover Records, a private-press label for his releases. Tom has been a featured musician on numerous performances and recordings of his peers, and is currently a touring member of longstanding Bay Area heavy-hitters, The Stone Foxes. Tom’s newest self-titled LP arrives October 2022, followed by ongoing touring both solo and with the Tom Relling Band.

Overview of the upcoming album:

“Tom Relling” is the new self-titled solo record from California multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, who after many years earned a local reputation as an ace guitarist (Stone FoxesHibbity Dibbity) now steps into a new role as visionary rocker-poet. Playing all the instruments himself (save pedal steel and fiddle on two of the album’s tracks) and mining from touchstone influences like Big Star and Sir Douglas Quintet, the sounds on “Tom Relling” range from 70’s glam rock (“American Groover,” “Wrangler”) early 2000’s alt-rock (“Lost and Looking to Find You”) to vintage straight-ahead country (“Freightliner,” “Back to the Country”). It’s all Tom, though – and despite its stylistic breadth, the album retains cohesion, providing the listener a transportive experience into Tom Relling’s inspired musical mind.” Preorder the new album HERE.
