Tonight, Ice Nine Kills’ The Silver Scream-A-Thon Tour May Just Come Crawling to a City Near You

Calling Psychos one and all, in case you haven’t heard (you most certainly have), your favorite freaks are going on tour.

Yes, for fans of Boston-based horror-core legends Ice Nine Kills, today is a massive day, indeed. The launch of The Silver Scream-A-Thon starts tonight with support from bands like Hail The Sun, The World Alive, The Funeral Portrait and more!

December 16th, 2024 was the day that stopped fans’ hearts (or sent them into overdrive) with the first teaser for this tour. An old-fashioned newsprint with the glowing graphic of burning paper set to a clip from Stabbing In The Dark (off of their 2018 album, The Silver Scream) was the very first INKling (see what I did there?) fans were treated to, and it all just got better from there.

An Instagram reel posted on the 20th declared just what everyone wanted to hear- an explanation to the words that we were reading but simply couldn’t believe.

Day 1: The album that started it all. The original soundtrack of horror metal! The Silver Scream

Day 2: Back to thrill you! The sequel to end all sequels… Welcome to Horrorwood.

A double feature to DIE for.

Two albums, two nights. 12 locations, 24 shows.

Tonight (and tomorrow night) in Raleigh, North Carolina, the tour kicks off. Running through the month of May to June and circling the country, Ice Nine Kills is bringing the energy and theatrics that fans and critics alike have come to know and love.

With the promise of a full album playthrough on both nights, along with several other deep cuts and, allegedly, even some new material, there’s no doubt that we’re all chomping at the bit. Perhaps there are more thrills hiding for us around the corner.

If you’re not already following along for this delightfully dramatic adventure, make sure to keep your eyes glued to the screen of your phone, lest you miss anything particularly crucial.

Ice Nine Kills can be found all around the web on any social media site of your choosing: X, Instagram, and even TikTok.

And just in case you haven’t brushed up on your lore yet – if perhaps you’re the new kid in school – you can check out the band’s YouTube page to make sure you’re properly immersed before your show.

Come what may, we can all rest assured of one thing for certain. These shows will certainly be A Work of Art. (Keep your eyes peeled for clowns, Raleigh. Just in case.)

Be sure to snag your tickets while they’re still available, and if the Scream-A-Thon isn’t dragging it’s blood soaked feet near your city, you can still catch INK supporting the iconic Metallica through the end of June.
