Saturday, oh, Saturday! The fest was in full swing, everyone knew the drill – sort out set times, coordinate when to buy food, talk themselves into and then out of and then into waiting for an hour to buy a Cheesie’s grilled cheese, the whole shtick. Saturday’s lineup was surreal, and the people of Riot Fest were full of energy for the entire day. With bands like Turnstile, The Damned Things, Rise Against, and Slayer on the bill, it was insane.
