Poly Styrene, born Marianne Elliot Said, has passed away on April 25th, 2011 due to cancer. Born in June 3rd, 1957 she has led a great life influencing many musicians and people. She fronted the legendary band Xray Spex who has influenced the music industry as a whole. Her most recent albumGeneration Indigo has been released in the US today.
