On Friday, February 21, 2025, the MGM Northfield Park’s Center Stage in Northfield, Ohio, was transported back to the late ’90s as Lit and Fuel co-headlined their “Ignited We Stand 2025 Tour.” The evening was a nostalgic journey, rekindling the energy and spirit of an era defined by alternative rock anthems.

Lit took the stage first, delivering a powerful performance that resonated with long-time fans. Their setlist featured a blend of their biggest hits and fan favorites, including:

Kicked Off the Plane
Four
Zip-Lock
Over My Head
The Last Time Again
Lipstick and Bruises
Miserable
Something to Someone
Everything’s Cool
Sick of Me Too (new song)
|Let’s Go (The Cars cover)
My Own Worst Enemy

Lead-singer J.Jay mentioned they recorded a new song, “Sick of Me Too” and that they feel “the magic is back and they may release an album, or an EP or just singles at a time”. I can’t wait to see what the band has in store for 2025.

At the end of their 50-minute set, the audience sang along passionately to “My Own Worst Enemy,” a track that has undeniably stood the test of time. Their rendition of The Cars’ “Let’s Go” added a delightful twist, paying homage to their musical influences.

Following Lit’s electrifying set, Fuel brought their signature high-energy performance to the stage. The crowd erupted as the opening chords of “Want It” filled the venue.

Just like Lit, Fuel played a cover song in their set as well.  “Hotel California” by the Eagles was their choice and it was a fantastic rendition of the song.

New lead-singer, Aaron Scott sounded great during “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)”, which served as a poignant highlight, showcasing the band’s enduring appeal.

The concert concluded around 10:30 PM, leaving attendees with a sense of fulfilled nostalgia and a renewed appreciation for the enduring legacy of ’90s rock. The “Ignited We Stand 2025 Tour” not only celebrated the past but also reaffirmed the timeless connection between these bands and their fans.
