So growing up did you write a lot of songs just for fun?:
Not really songs but I did write some poems. I remember one in particular, it was called Dizzy Gizzy and it was about my puppy. haha!

What themes do you mostly write about?
I write about real life experiences whether it be about myself or someone I know. I take all of the emotions I am feeling about a certain subject and then turn it into lyrics that tell the story.

If you had the chance to work with any artist who would it be and why?
Wow that’s a tough one. There are so many artists that I truly admire and would love to work with. The first person that came to mind was John Mayer. He is an incredible songwriter and his lyrics are absolutely amazing.

If you had to compare your vocal style of anyone who would it be?
I never really compare myself with other artists. That would probably be for everyone else to listen and then decide. My vocal style definitely came from my vocal coach though. Her name is Marie Hardway and she taught me everything I know.

When listening to your music what feeling do you want people to get?
I just want my music to touch people and hope that they can feel what I am singing about. When a fan tells me that one of my songs or a certain lyric helped get them through something or inspired them in some way that makes me incredibly happy.

You’re the older sister of Cassadee Pope, vocalist of Hey Monday, what was it like growing up for you?
Growing up with Cass was always fun. We went to the same school all the way up to High School so we spent a lot of time together. Of course typical sisters, we bickered now and then but we were always very close.

Would you ever record a song with Hey Monday?
Of course I would, that would be awesome!

Can you give us an inspirational quote that you think people should live by?
This one is mine and I live by it.. “Karma is a bitch, so you don’t have to be”. For inspiration my favorite quote is from Eleanor Roosevelt, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
