Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, alternative rock band Eyes Eat Suns released their new EP, Alive, this past June and just put out a music video for their single “Priceless Faces”. Catching up with vocalist Ayisa Adderley, she opened up about the people and moments that helped her realize she wanted to pursue a career as a musician.
“My family! I grew up with my mom who loved to sing and always encouraged me to sing, too. My happiest memories are everyone gathering around karaoke machines and singing along to the songs. Whenever I felt down, that’s what I did, I sang. I would improv/write my own songs to lift my own spirits. Now, Eyes Eat Suns is an extension of that.”
