Although Lorde’s 2017 single “Liability” is lyrically dark and took on a slow paced, piano-centered identity when it appeared on Melodrama, Tove Styrke does not disappoint with her reinvention of the song. Without demeaning the weight of Lorde’s lyricism, Tove Stryke infuses neon lights and intricately placed synthesizers to make the song her own. Styrke’s video for the song hopefully foreshadows what one can expect as she opens for Lorde this spring. The video, as well as tour dates, can be found below.
