Guitar rock diva, songwriter and rock and roll musician Palmyra Delran recently released her latest album, Come Spy With Me, via Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records in partnership with The Orchard.  With a genuine appreciation for rock and roll, Delran has led a long and impressive career that included playing with Pink Slip Daddy and co-founding the ’90s girl group The Friggs, sharing the stage with iconic bands such as The Ramones and Cheap Trick.

Earlier this week, Delran released her latest track, Happy Birthday Middle Child” featuring Debbie Harry who Delran refers to as “the most punk rock person I know.” The track celebrates the middle child who often feels forgotten in the family line up, stuck between the ego-boosted older sibling and the perpetually-pampered youngest. “There seems to be an inside joke with middle children that they get ignored… or maybe be they’re just milking it for attention, but there’s always room for more birthday songs!” Delran shares.

Come Spy With Me also features Delran’s three previously-released singles, “I Thought You Said That You Were Gonna Kill Yourself” which Substream Magazine called “smart and witty,” “(If You’d Like To Make A Call) Please Hang Up” ft. power pop legend Paul Collins, as well as title track “Come Spy With Me” featuring Little Steven, Debbie Harry (Blondie), and John Carlucci (Fuzztones) which was featured as Coolest Song In The World on Little Steven Van Zandt’s worldwide terrestrial radio show Underground Garage.

When she’s not writing, recording, or touring, Delran hosts Palmyra’s Trash-Pop Shindig on Little Steven’s Underground Garage Channel on SiriusXM four days a week, delivering and eclectic mix of music to her listeners. She plays everything from sweet surf sounds, rambunctious rock n’ roll and everything in between, with Little Steven dubbing her “the Lucille Ball of rock n’ roll”.
